Dalam posting Muhammad Yesus Buddha di blog ini aku pernah menulis, "Jangan ukur nilai seseorang berdasarkan tinggi atau rendahnya sekolah dia, atau berapa banyak yang ditulisnya." Kalau begitu mengukurnya pakai apa? Mungkin akan ada banyak jawaban. Saya hanya ingin menunjukkan salah satu dari sekian jawaban bagus yang ada, dengan lebih dulu mengutip uraian Adi W Gunawan dalam buku bestsellernya Quantum Life Transformation berikut ini:
Map of Consciousness atau Peta Kesadaran merupakan hasil penelitian mendalam yang dilakukan oleh David R. Hawkins M.D., Ph.D., yang dituangkan dalam disertasinya yang berjudul Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis And Calibration of The Level Human Consciousness. Intisari dari disertasi ini ditulis menjadi buku Power vs Force.
Dalam berbagai "tradisi" spiritual, kita diajari hal yang sama, yaitu ketidakmelekatan, melihat dunia apa adanya, netralitas, kepasrahan, cinta kasih, sabar, nrimo, syukur, ketenangan dan keseimbangan batin, serta masih banyak hal positif lainnya. Namun, bagi Anda dan juga saya yang banyak menggunakan logika dan karenanya segala sesuatu harus bisa dijelaskan secara ilmiah agar bisa diterima dengan nalar, penjelasan dalam bentuk "ajaran" saja dan tidak didukung oleh bukti ilmiah tentu akan sangat sulit diterima.
Itulah sebabnya saya melakukan riset dan studi literatur. Dan secara tidak sengaja, saya menemukan hasil penelitian David Hawkins tersebut. Selama ini, jarang ada penelitian mendalam yang dapat digunakan untuk menarik benang merah antara dunia spiritual dan materi (kekayaan, kemakmuran, pencapaian hidup). Penelitian David Hawkins tersebut berhasil menjelaskan dengan sangat gamblang berbagai level kesadaran berkaitan dengan level energi psikis.
Nah, sampai disini, aku hendak menggarisbawahi satu hal: Level Kesadaran. Ya, bagaimana kalau mengukur manusia berdasarkan level kesadarannya? Menurut pendapatku, ini bisa menjadi salah satu, ya cuma salah satu sih, dari sekian banyak jawaban yang ada di dunia ini.

Pada level ini, semuanya terhubung dengan Tuhan. Inilah level inspirasi yang luar biasa. Orang yang mencapai level ini tidak lagi mengalami "diri pribadi". Ego telah terlampaui. Dan evolusi kesadaran manusia mencapai tingkat tertinggi. Pada level ini, tubuh dimengerti hanya sebagai alat dari kesadaran, dan fungsi utama tubuh adalah alat komunikasi. Apa yang terjadi pada tubuh bukan hal penting lagi. Inilah level non-dualitas atau kesatuan sempurna.
Solusi dari Pak Adi: Nah, setelah membaca uraian di atas, apakah Anda bingung? Kalau belum bisa memahami sepenuhnya, tidak apa-apa. Semua ada waktunya. Yang paling penting saat ini, kita sadar bahwa ternyata emosi punya level-level energi. Begitu pula kesadaran. Jadi, kita perlu belajar agar bisa selalu berada dalam kondisi emosi atau kesadaran yang positif.
